Site Reclamation Activity <br /> April 1996 - March 1997 <br /> Page 6 <br /> ENGINEERING OFFICE SETTLING PONDS - Plate No. 3 <br /> This site was deeded to the San Juan County Historical Society <br /> during the year. Use of the quonset building, metal building and <br /> topsoil area was retained by lease arrangement. <br /> Activity at this site consisted of; <br /> 1) use of the quonset building, metal building and vicinity as a <br /> staging area for projects and storage. <br /> 2) planting of shrubs. <br /> Activity planned for 1997 includes; <br /> 1) monitoring and maintenance of vegetation. <br /> 2) use of the area as a staging area for projects and storage. <br /> INTERPRETIVE SIGN AREA - Plate No. 3 <br /> Activity at this site during the 1996 reporting year consisted of; <br /> 1) planting of shrubs in the area. <br /> Activity planned for 1997 consists of; <br /> 1) monitoring and maintenance of the vegetation and site. <br /> BULKHEADS - TR-14 / TR-6 <br /> Activity at this project during the 1996 reporting year consisted <br /> of; <br /> 1) the continuation of the seep, spring and flowing adit <br /> inventory required by TR-14. Twenty percent of the sites were <br /> required to be sampled and all sites monitored for field <br /> parameters twice. SGC monitored and sampled each site twice <br /> (if flow existed) during the field season. Summary sheets of <br /> the data collected is included in Appendix B. <br />
