The
information included herein is for the calendar year 2011.
General Summary of Operations:
The filling of Parcel A is progressing according to plan. The Colorado Department of
Public Health and Environment ( CDPHE) confirmed that the facility is regulated under
the Recycling provisions of the Regulations Pertaining to Solid Waste Disposal Sites and
Facilities. Groundwater monitoring wells were monitored semi - annually. The deliveries
of inert materials are based upon the local economy and the volumes are down compared
to 2010. CDPHE has required that asphalt be segregated for subsequent placement above
the groundwater table or crushed and reused on -site or off -site. The asphalt collected has
been crushed and used on site for dust suppression and is above the water table. Other
than the information in this report there have been no incidents of significance and the
operations have gone well.
Volume of Materials Placed:
The volume of materials placed during the calendar year 2011 is 46875 cubic yards.
Testing and Monitoring Reports:
Groundwater monitoring wells MW -1, MW -2, and MW -3 were installed June 17, 2010.
The groundwater monitoring wells were sampled on 4/5/2011 and 10/17/2011. The
monitoring wells were analyzed for parameters listed in Appendix IA and IB of CDPHE
regulations. Lake samples and mud truck samples were not taken.
