Construction of a storm water channel was also performed using a Hitachi 350 <br />excavator. A channel was constructed on the upstream toe of the catch berm and check dams <br />were placed approximately every 50 vertical feet. <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />SUMMARY: <br />The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction <br />activities of the contractor. <br />AMEC observed clear and grub activities performed by Seedmasters within the Mill Site Earthworks <br />project. <br />AMEC observed stripping and relocation of topsoil from within the Mill Site Earthworks project. <br />AMEC observed subgrade preparation within the Mill Site Earthworks project prior to structural fill <br />placement. Subgrade temperatures were monitored prior to fill placement. <br />AMEC observed excavation and placement of structural fill within the Mill Site Earthworks project. <br />Ambient, existing, and placed fill temperatures were monitored throughout the week. <br />AMEC observed remediation of UG #4000. <br />AMEC observed Frontier Environmental Services Inc. relocate the structure at UG#4008. <br />MEW Weekly Report WE 02.04.2012 <br />
