i
c
TR-25 Submittal
Page 4
Bulkhead Buffer: Hydrated lime will be placed near the bulkhead faces to provide
additional buffering of the water that will be in contact with the
bulkhead faces. Five tons will be split between the downstream
face of Bulkhead#1 and upstream face of Bulkhead#2 and three
tons will be split between the downstream face of Bulkhead#2 and
up stream face of#3.
DMG will be offered an opportunity for a pre-pour inspection prior to each bulkhead
pour and a construction certification report will be submitted to DMG for each bulkhead.
RECLAMATION PLAN
Changes to the approved reclamation plan for the surface disturbance are not proposed
with this TR. No disturbance of land not previously disturbed within the permit area is
required to implement the proposed work plan. All new construction will be confined to
the underground workings.
After placement of bulkheads, SGC anticipates that reclamation of the portal will be
completed if weather conditions allow. The water treatment system will remain in place
until it is determined that it will serve no further purpose.
MONITORING
SGC does not propose any additional monitoring. The monitoring plan under TR-14 and
site monitoring under SGC's MLR permit are adequate to detect any changes to water
quality as a result of the project.
