Some of these corrections result from the snow
clearing allowing more accurate location of the pathway and
adjustments for physical site conditions.
o The pipeline length is approximately 600' with 350' - 400'
being on previously undisturbed ground.
o The grade of the pipe will probably be close to 2% ±.
o In order to avoid numerous bends to follow contours it will be
necessary to fill some low spots to grade. Fill is available
from stockpiles created from the slope reduction project
finished last fall on the Cement Creek bank. The remainder of
the bench will be constructed as stated in your letter.
Drainage will be installed as necessary in the fill zones.
Additional Information Requested
o Attached are a plan and section of the Cement Creek diversion
that will give the general concept intended for installation.
A 20" pipeline is shown on these although the actual
installation may be 15" - 24" as previously stated depending
on pipe availability, final adjusted slope, etc.
