The above mentioned tracts of land are shown on <br />USGS 7.5 minute Nucla Quadrangle map. <br />A copy of the permit application is available for <br />public inspection at the Montrose County Courthouse <br />Annex in Nucla, Colorado as well as at the Denver <br />and Durango offices of the Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety located at Room 215, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Denver, CO 80203 (telephone 303 - 866 -3567) <br />and 691 Co Rd. 233, Suite A -2, Durango, CO 81301 <br />(telephone 970- 247- 1184). Written comments, objections <br />or a request for an informal conference on the permit <br />application may be submitted to the Denver office of the <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, and must be <br />received by the Division within 30 days after final publi- <br />cation of this notice. Phone Inquiries should be directed <br />to Marcia Talvine in the Durango office at 970 - 247 -1184. <br />Topsoil .stripping and haul road and pond con- <br />struction activities are proposed to occur within 100' of <br />the outside nght -of -way of public roads However, no <br />overburden removal or coal extraction will occur within <br />100' of the outside nght -of -way of public roads. A public <br />hearing, for the purpose of determining whether the <br />interests of the public and affected landowners will be <br />protected, may be requested by contacting the Division in <br />writing within 30 days of the last day of last publication <br />of the notice.
