Please update this <br />map for the next permit term if necessary. <br />3.8 Utilities and Support Facilities <br />31. Page 3 -179 indicates which maps within the permit depict the support facilities at the site. Map M13C <br />was omitted from this list. Please update the narrative to include this map in the listing. <br />4.3.4.5 Disposal Sites and Methods <br />32. Map M47a shows typical utility waste disposal sites for the current permit term as well as historical sites. <br />Please update these maps for the next permit term. <br />4.8.1.4 Sediment Ponds <br />33. The last paragraph on page 4 -184 states, "The current drainage and sediment control plan calls for the <br />use of up to 36 sediment ponds either singly or in series over the 5 -year permit term (2008- 2012)." Please <br />update this information for the next permit term. <br />4.8.2.2 Groundwater Inflow to the Mine <br />34. This section discusses where dewatering wells will be installed and utilized during the 2008 to 2012 <br />permit term. Please update this section for the next permit term. <br />35. As discussed in section 2.7 above and in this section, water wells adjacent to the active mining areas may <br />be impacted by drawdown from open pit mining. The current text indicates only two wells are likely to <br />be impacted from drawdown. Please update this information if additional wells have been found near the <br />mine site. <br />4.8.2.2a Ground Water Inflow, 2008 -2012. <br />36. Paged 4 -226c and d will need to be updated for the next pen term. <br />4.8.3.2 Groundwater Impacts <br />37. Page 4 -237 references two maps; Map M34 and Map M32.
