This site is located three miles south of Hayden Colorado is Routt County. I, Jared Ebert <br />of the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety conducted the inspection. Mr. Roy Karo of Hayden <br />Gulch Terminal was at the mine office during the inspection but did not accompany me during the site inspection. <br />The weather was cool and cloudy. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS — Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />A records check was conducted; please see the end of the report for a detailed list of the findings. <br />FISH and WILDLIFE — Rule 4.18: <br />Several deer and sandhill cranes were observed within the inside of the rail loop circle. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, <br />4.05.10, Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring <br />4.05.13; Drainage — Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />Tie Across Haul Road Culverts 17, 16, 12, 9, 5, 5A, 2 and 2A were observed. These culverts were clear of debris <br />and appeared to be in working order. <br />The Truck Loop Pond was observed; the pond was holding water but was not discharging. A small rill is forming <br />on the north west corner of the pond, Canada thistle was observed in the rill.
