January Monthly Report - 2001 <br /> Page 4 <br /> Evaluation of the normalized data: <br /> The index value of +2.01 for January 2001 indicates that the dissolved zinc <br /> concentration at the reference point A-72 was significantly above the mean value of the <br /> reference data for the low flow class. Based on the results from the Bureau of <br /> Reclamation's samples for the three gaging stations for January, all three sub-basins had <br /> elevated zinc concentrations. <br /> The 12 period moving average of index values rose to +0.73 from +0.59.
