TR -109 Response Cont.
A third discrepancy in parcel bond release status concerns Parcels H -B -94 and H -C -04.
Parcel H -B -94 had a dragline walkroad carved from it in 2001; the roadway encompassed
5.9 acres. However, a small discontinuous sub - parcel was created by this action. Parcel
H -B -94 had received Phase I and II bond release at 35.2 acres prior to this event.
However the small sub - parcel was not included in SL -7 for Phase III bond release and H-
B-94 was released at 26.7 acres. Parcel H -C -04 contains the walkroad disturbance and
also absorbed the remaining pieces of H -B -94. H -C -04 has currently received Phase I
and II release also. The original walkroad disturbance and the absorbed sub - parcel will
be treated as one re- disturbance value of 8.5 acres. This will avoid double counting
approximately 2.6 acres that had received Phase I and II bond release twice under
different parcel identifications.
Prior Annual Reclamation Report values reported may or may not be correct after
performing this audit. Errors were found going back several years on total bond release
acres, primarily due to the above mentioned issues. A revised ARR form is attached and
shall be the new basis for all values into the future.
Trapper would like to request an extension on the response time for TR -109 until August
31, 2012.
Please contact me if you have any additional questions regarding the enclosed
information.
Sincerely,
7
Graham Roberts
EHS Specialist
GCR
M:\ANNUALRPT\DRMS11RPT\TR -109 Responsel Letter.DOC
Enclosure
File 109.2.3.4, w/o enc
Shelf Binder w /enc
/0.1,
