Overall,grass has begun to establish throughout the site. The dominant vegetation appears to be annual <br /> forbs such as penny cress. The surface of the reclaimed parcels have been pocked and no significant erosion <br /> features were observed. <br /> REVEGETATION—Rule 4.15;Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br /> Grass has begun to establish throughout the reclaimed east mine parcels. The dominant vegetation appears to be <br /> annual forbs such as pennycress. <br /> The west mine reclaimed area has dense vegetation established. According to Mr.Bear,the county has been out <br /> spraying for star thistle in the area. <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES -Rule 4.04: <br /> The former loadout facilities area was observed, this area is primarily used for equipment storage and a staging <br /> area for the drillers. <br /> The former coal stockpile area on the west end of the loadout facilities area has been graded and revegetated.
