Hickenlooper <br />Governor <br />Mike King <br />Executive Director <br />Loretta E. Pineda <br />Director <br />Seneca Coal Company, LLC has applied for a bond release at the Yoast Mine. The bond release <br />application was found complete by this Division on July 13, 2012. Seneca Coal Company is <br />requesting Phase I Bond Release on 171.6 acres of regraded roads, topsoil stockpiles, and pit <br />areas. Regrading of the areas was completed between 2006 and 2012. The surface ownership is <br />Federal, state and private, and the coal mined was Federal and private. <br />We will be conducting the Division's required bond release inspection of the site on August 8, <br />2012, at 10:00 a.m. A proposed decision on the application will be issued within sixty (60) days <br />of our inspection. <br />If you have questions or need additional information, please contact me. <br />Sincerely, <br />Susan L.
