Pineda <br />Director <br />The Division received GCC Energy, LLC's (GCCE's) application for Permit Renewal No. 6 for <br />the Ding Coal Mine on February 14 2012. The application was submitted in advance of the <br />February 20, 2012 date required by the Division's November 17, 2011 letter, which notified <br />GCCE that the mine's five-year permit will expire on August 18, 2012. <br />The application was initially deemed to be incomplete, for the reason detailed in the Division's <br />February 24, 2012 letter. A revised public notice was submitted, and the Division considered the <br />application to be complete, for purposes of filing, on February 28, 2012.
