Power at 25,000 volts will be reduced to 9160 volts for <br />• general mine distribution, 490 volts for motors, and 220/110 volts <br />for offices and other miscellaneous use. Connected load totals <br />12,720 kilowatts (kw), peaking maximum load is 8700 kw, and average <br />monthly consumption is estimated at 9,000,000 kilowatt-hours (kwh). <br />As produc~ion iccreases to 2,500,000 tpy, after ;e:;~ __~.~a, <br />connected load will total 17,220 kw, peaking maximum load will be <br />10,700 kw, and average monthly consumption will reach 6,000,000 <br />kwh. <br />9.3.3 Surface Facilities <br />The primary surface facilities include the pumping and sizing <br />facility for water handling, coal sizing, and water clarification; <br />the crusher for further breaking down of the coal; the coal <br />dewatering plant for coal; and temporary coal storage.
