5 oo - . <br />ADDENDUM TO MINING LEASE <br />THIS ADDENDUM to Mining Lease made and entered into <br />this 3n day of September, 1962, does hereby amend and add <br />to Mining Lease dated May 21, 1956 between SAN MIGUEL POWER <br />ASSOCIATION, INC., lessor, and EDNA COAL COMPANY, lessee, <br />WITNESSETH; <br />1. That the property hereinafter described is <br />held by san Miguel Power Association, Inc. under a lease <br />with one James K. Johnson and it is desired that said pro- <br />perty be added to the original Mining Lease between the <br />parties hereto dated May 21, 1956. <br />2. The description of the leased premises to be <br />added to said original Mining Lease, as well as Amendment <br />dated March 18, 1960, is as follows; <br />A tract of land situated in the N1lSW1/4 <br />and in the NW1/4SS3/4 of Section 36, Town- <br />ship 47 North, Range 16 West of the New <br />Mexico Principal Meridian. Said tract <br />of land contains 54.152 acres, more or <br />less, and is described as follows, to -wits <br />1. Beginning at a point known as the <br />northeast corner and from whence the <br />northwest corner of Section 30, T.47 N., <br />Range 15 W., N.M.P.M. bears N.09 deg. <br />29' 58" E. 7980.0 feat, thence S. 0 deg. <br />22' W. 600.0 feet along a fence line <br />to the southeast corner of said tract. <br />2. Thence due West 3931.9 feet to the <br />southwest corner of said tract. <br />3. Thence N. 0 deg. 27' E. 600.0 feet along <br />a fence line to the northwest corner of <br />said tract. <br />
