Monitoring and maintenance are <br /> the only activities planned for this site in the future. <br /> Boulder Creek Tailings Project <br /> As of the end of May, 1997 excavation of tailings was <br /> complete. A total of 5700 cubic yards was excavated and <br /> hauled to Tailings Pond #4 from this site. Capping material <br /> was hauled in and spread where needed and approximately 10 <br /> tons of limestone and 700 pounds of hydrated lime were spread <br /> over the site for neutralization. Tailings hauled to Tailings <br /> Pond #4 were spread and neutralized with 55.0 tons of alkaline <br /> material (quicklime kiln dust) . <br /> Planned activity for June at this site consists of planting <br /> the area. A request for project completion site inspection <br /> will be made in June. <br />
