Therefore, no work, permitting or <br /> arrangement for access is planned until it becomes evident <br /> that the work plan for this project requires implementation. <br /> - Surface Mill Tailings at Eureka <br /> No work was done on this project in February, 1997 due to <br /> snow-cover. <br /> The time extension request submitted to the U.S. Army Corps of <br /> Engineers for the Section 404 Permit held for this project was <br /> granted. The determination on whether additional work is <br /> required will be made after snow clears and a inspection can <br /> be made in the spring. <br /> - Gold Prince - Mill Tailings <br /> No work was done on this project in February due to snow-cover <br /> and loss of access for the winter, <br /> The amended work plan became effective in February, 1997 but <br /> it has not been submitted to the court for inclusion under the <br /> Consent Decree. Implementation of this amended work plan is <br /> planned for the 1997 construction season and will begin as <br /> soon as it is included in the consent decree and weather <br /> allows. <br /> - Ransom Tunnel <br /> The amended permit and included work plan for this project <br /> became effective in February, 1997 but it has not been <br /> submitted to the court for inclusion under the Consent Decree. <br /> Implementation of the work plan for this project has been <br /> planned for an April 1 , 1997 start. Hopefully the work plan <br /> can be submitted to the court to preclude any potential for <br /> delays in starting the project. <br /> - Longfellow - Koehler Mine Waste Project <br /> During the month of February, an additional 4598 cubic yards <br /> were excavated and hauled from the Koehler waste dump to <br /> Sunnyside Gold Corporation's Tailings Pond #4 . This brings <br /> the total yardage removed from this dump to 28,238 cubic yards <br /> and completes the Koehler dump removal portion of the project. <br />
