Dear Ms. Sullivan:
The following is submitted to satisfy the monthly and DMR reporting
requirements for CDPS Permit No. CO-0044768 - Mine Remediation
Projects.
Project Status:
American Tunnel Mine Waste Dump
No work was done at this site during July. Grass planted in
the fall of 1995 is starting to grow.
Boulder Creek Tailings Project
An access agreement to perform work on this site has not been
signed although the owner has been contacted and appears to be
willing to sign an access agreement.
Columbus Mine Portals - Mine Waste Dumps
This is a "B" list project and no work has been done to
implement the work plan for this site or obtain owner
approval . The results from the portal discharge sample taken
in June are attached
Surface Mill Tailings at Eureka
Implementation of this project started in July. Progress
