Star Mine Operations, LLC Revenue Mine MCP Plan 2012 <br />In the event of a spill/release, the AE 852 can be dammed up, covered with inert absorbent and swept up <br />into containers for appropriate disposal. Water can be used to flush the spill area. If the powder spills, <br />sweep up the material into approved containers for disposal. <br />3.4.12 Frother Aerofroth 70 — Liquid <br />When handling Aerofroth 70, the following PPE should be used: tight fitting chemical safety goggles or <br />face shield and protective gloves and clothing. A MSHA approved dust mask or respirator should be <br />worn if conditions are if fumes are present. It is recommended that adequate ventilation or a local <br />exhaust system be used. Wash thoroughly after handling. <br />In the event of a spill/release where level of exposure is unknown, a positive pressure, self - contained <br />respirator is required. In addition to the PPE discussed above, impermeable boots are recommended. <br />The Aerofroth 70 can be covered with inert absorbent and swept up into containers for appropriate <br />disposal. Water can be used to flush the spill area. <br />3.4.13 Sodium Bisulfate —Granular <br />When handling sodium bisulfate, the following PPE should be used: tight fitting chemical safety goggles <br />or face shield and protective gloves and clothing. A MSHA approved dust mask or respirator should be <br />worn if conditions are dusty or if fumes are present. It is recommended that adequate ventilation or a <br />local exhaust system be used. Wash thoroughly after handling. <br />In the event of a spill/release where level of exposure is unknown, a positive pressure, self - contained <br />respirator is required. A MSHA approved dust mask or respirator should be <br />worn if conditions are dusty or if fumes are present. It is recommended that adequate ventilation or a <br />local exhaust system be used.
