WILDLIFE INFORMATION EXHIBIT H <br />1. Significant Game Resources on the Affected Lands <br />According to the Colorado Division of Wildlife, the following game species overall range passes <br />through the Revenue Mine: <br />• American Elk <br />• Bighorn sheep <br />• Black Bear <br />• Mountain Lion <br />• Mule Deer <br />2. Significant Non - Game Resources on the Affected Lands <br />Bald eagles and red - tailed hawks are known to be in the area although no nests have been seen <br />within the vicinity of the permit area. Birds use the area but since there is no water on site, the use <br />is limited. Small mammals such as squirrels, hares, foxes, and others likely have habitat in the area <br />of the Revenue Mine. <br />3. Seasonal Use of Affected Lands <br />The high altitude nature of this land leads to most wildlife departing for lower elevations in the <br />winter. Elk, deer, and other game range this area predominantly in the spring and summer. <br />4. Presence and Estimated Population of Threatened or Endangered species in the area. <br />Lynx habitat for this area is listed as Known or Likely Occurrence by CDOW. Impact on their <br />habitat is expected to be minimal, so no forest stands will be affected by mining. <br />5. Fish Resources <br />Sneffels Creek is not known to bear any substantial fish resources, due to the speed at which it <br />flows through the area. <br />Revenue Mine August 2012 H - <br />
