area during operations. Immediately south of this dry -room is a 50' x 20' building that houses <br />the air compressors for the mine; it sits on a 6 -inch concrete foundation. All three of these <br />structures are existing buildings on site. <br />13. Designated Parking and Storage Areas <br />A gravel parking area will be provided for employees and visitors just northwest and adjacent to <br />the mine offices. Signs will be posted stating that visitors must check in at the mine office. See <br />Map C -2 for location. <br />14. Mine Access Roads <br />Access to the Revenue Mine will be via the existing site access road that connects to County <br />Road 26. A newer bridge was installed by the property owner in the past and this bridge is <br />adequate for the mine operation. A gate is in place on the south side of the bridge at the entrance <br />to the permit area to close this access road whenever the mine is not in operation. Signs will also <br />be posted to discourage civilians from entering the mine site. <br />An access road will connect the Atlas waste pile area to the bulk of the operation with a crossing <br />over the Sneffels Creek drainage. A new bridge similar to the main access road bridge will be <br />installed under this crossing. This road is seen on Map C -4. <br />15. Utilities <br />San Miguel Power Company will supply electricity to the site using the existing power poles and <br />lines. As shown on Map C -1, an existing telephone and power pole is located on the east side of <br />the operation. These poles are the property of San Miguel Power, and have been in place since <br />the 1980s. <br />Revenue Mine August 2012 D - <br />
