See attached map. <br /> Physical Description of Conditions <br /> The project area is just east of Highway 550 and just south of Red Mountain Pass, see <br /> attached location map. The climate can best be described as high alpine at timberline. The winter <br /> season is long with a very short summer season. The topography is generally steep and rugged. <br /> Elevations range from 10,400' in the valley to the south of the project to 12, 400' to the east of the <br /> project area.
