June 19, 2012 C- 1984 - 065 /Coal Ridge No. I Mine ZTT
some maintenance to the sediment pond had occurred. The ditch measured 1.5 feet wide by 1.5 feet deep by 150
feet long. The ditch began in Ditch 3, near a point where Ditch 3 met Culvert C5, and ran roughly in a south-
easterly direction from this point.
OTHER (SPECIFY):
The fence lining the disturbed boundary has been knocked down at two sections. The section, just north of the
sediment pond, appears to have been removed to achieve easier access to perform the needed maintenance to the
outlet of Culvert C5. It appears there was two main access points for the construction traffic. One just east of the
sediment pond and the other just west of the sediment pond. After discussions with Mr. Jim Stover, the roads used
to access the sediment pond were preexisting. The second area of fence knocked down was along the eastern
disturbed boundary, north of the Vulcan Ditch. It appears this section was used to gain access to or from the
adjacent land.
Fence line north of sediment pond
ROADS — Rule 4.03
Fence line along eastern disturbance boundary.
Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3)
Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4)
Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.032(5) and (6)
Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7):
All roads and benches on the Coal Ridge Mine site were inspected.
