The Golden Eagle mine is a reclaimed <br />underground mine. The majority of the reclaimed mine area has received final bond release previously. The <br />Golden Eagle mine consists of a reclaimed vent shaft and reclaimed access road. The reclaimed vent shaft is still <br />within the 10 -year liability time -frame since the last reclamation activities were completed. <br />The weather was hot and dry. The majority of the state of Colorado is experiencing extreme fire danger. <br />FISH and WILDLIFE — Rule 4.18: <br />There were numerous elk tracks and elk scat on site as well as coyote scat. No Animals were observed on the <br />reclaimed vent shaft area during the inspection. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, <br />4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring <br />4.05.13; Drainage — Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />The remaining pad area has been approved as a SAE, therefore, no ponds remain on site. An upland diversion <br />ditch will remain as a permanent structure. The site has been dry and there was no evidence of recent <br />precipitation.
