Spraying was occurring during the time of the inspection. <br /> <br />Knapweed was the most prevalent weed found. Knapweed was found in a smaller patch along the reclaimed Mine <br />No. 4 portal. Large quantities of knapweed were found along the eastern side of the topsoil pile just north of the <br />warehouse. Knapweed was also found along the railroad tracks in the facilities area. Other notable areas found <br />with knapweed include the mine dewatering pond embankments, pond 5-P1 embankments and along the <br />embankment of the river just south of the railroad intersection. <br /> <br />Thistle was found along this perimeter ditch just south of the warehouse, along the reclaimed Mine No. 4 portal <br />and the non-coal waste pile, <br /> <br />Small patches of mullens was found along the perimeter ditch southeast of the warehouse. <br /> <br />Houndstongue was found around the Pump House SAE, inlet of Culvert 34 and outlet of Culver 51. <br /> <br />Thistle along Mine No. 4 regraded slope.
