IV. Problems, Recommendations and Compliance Dates <br /> The operator is advised that the following problems have been identified <br /> during inspections and that failure to correct the problems may result in the <br /> Division taking an ENFORCEMENT ACTION pursuant to CRS 1973, as amended, <br /> 34-33-123. This plan must include a metering <br /> system for the addition of any chemical additives by August 27, 1984. <br /> NOV C-84-090 <br /> Revise the permit application to include a contingency plan for treating <br /> runoff entering the Mines #1 and #2 sediment ponds to remove suspended <br /> solids by August 27, 1984. This plan must include a metering system for <br /> the addition of any chemical additives. <br /> NOV C-84-094 <br /> Install the approved spillways on the Arctic Circle ponds by <br /> August 20, 1984. <br /> NOV C-84-097 <br /> Construct the approved sediment control system for the Mine #3 lower bin <br /> pad by September 4, 1984. <br /> NOV C-84-154 <br /> Obtain Division approval of a revision for temporary disposal of coal <br /> processing waste at the Rock Tunnel waste disposal area by September 7, <br /> 1984. <br />
