General Comments <br /> This was a partial inspection of Mines 3 and 5, the wash plant area, and the Carbondale <br /> loadout facility. Mine #4 has been shut down for about 1 year, and Mine #1 was shut down <br /> because of the recent accident. Mine #1 was not inspected because a number of State <br /> and Federal investigators were at the site and it was not imperative that an inspection <br /> be conducted. Mine #2 was not inspected because of its close proximity to Mine #1. <br />
