Dept. of Natural Resources } <br /> E. <br /> 1 .0 INTRODUCTION �t <br /> This report presents the results of three surveys of the subsidence <br /> monitoring points in the Coal Basin area, Pltkin County, Colorado. The three <br /> monitoring surveys were performed in August 1981 , July 1982 and August 1983. <br /> They were performed at the request of Mr. Douglas W. Bowman, Environmental <br /> Coordinator for Mid-Continent Resources, - Inc., Carbondale, Colorado. <br /> 2.0 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The scope of work for this project was outlined in a letter to Mr. Bowman <br /> F' from Mining 3 Subsidence Engineering Company dated April 5, 1983. The scope of <br /> work was as follows: } <br /> 1 . Survey the existing monitoring points during August 1983 <br /> 2. Prepare a report with the following information <br /> a. Method of survey � <br /> b. Equipment used k' <br /> c. Coordinates and elevations of existing <br /> control points (TP-series) <br /> d. Coordinates and elevations of the nine ; <br /> monitoring points for each of the <br /> field surveys In 1981 , 1982 and 1983 <br /> e. Summaries of the survey field data <br /> The field survey data which provide the basis for the engineering <br /> calculations in this report are presented in the Appendix to this report. <br /> 3.0 SURVEYING EQUIPMENT AND METHODOLOGY <br /> 1 <br />
