Our initial review <br /> indicates that all preliminary items required by the Colorado Surface Coal <br /> Mining Reclamation Act, C.R.S. 34-33-101 et seq. , have been submitted; thus <br /> your technical revision application has been deemed complete for the purposes <br /> of filing on the above date. All review and comment periods as provided in <br /> the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this date of <br /> filing. <br /> A copy of the technical revision application, less any confidential <br /> information, must be filed for public inspection with the Pitkin County <br /> Planner or Clerk and Recorder. Any subsequent changes or additions must also <br /> be made in this copy. <br /> We found one discrepancy with the proposed newspaper notice. There is no <br /> specific timeframe for public comment on a technical revision application, and <br /> the final sentence of the notice should be deleted. You should commence <br /> publication of this advertisement as specified in Rule 2.07.3. (2) of the <br /> Regulations with the exception that the publication need only be run once, and <br /> reference to the informal conference specified in Rule 2.07.3(2)(d) should be <br /> deleted. Proof of the publication of the advertisement must be filed with the <br /> Division as soon as available after the publication date. <br /> The staff is currently reviewing your technical revision application to <br /> determine whether the items you have submitted are adequate in terms of <br /> meeting the requirements for purposes of adequacy. You will be notified as to <br /> the Division' s findings of adequacy or inadequacy of your revision <br /> application.
