Material will be pushed up to cover the highwall and down to backfill the <br /> lower bench. <br /> A D9U will be required to push 74,213 yd3 up to the hi ghwall. The average push <br /> distance is 125 feet, therefore, the unadjusted production would be 1,200 LCY fir. <br /> The adjustment factors are as follows: <br /> Condition Factor <br /> Average Operator 0.75 <br /> Rock Material 0.80 <br /> 50 Minute working hour 0.84 <br /> Unfavorable Grade Factor 0.40 <br /> Altitude deration 0.94 <br /> Overall Factor 0.19 <br /> The adjusted production rate is 228 LCY/hr, therefore, it would require •325 hours <br /> to complete this portion of the backfilling operation. <br /> To backfill the lower bench, a D9U would have to move 70,987 yd3 of material with <br /> an •average push distance of 125 feet.
