1� <br /> COAL BASIN RECLAMATION SCHEDULE <br /> The dates listed below are dates by which specific reclamation <br /> tasks at the Coal Basin Mine are to be completed. All tasks are to <br /> be completed in accordance with the reclamation plan in the Coal <br /> Basin permit application (File C-81-017) and any revisions to that <br /> plan which have been approved by the Division of Minerals and <br /> Geology (the Division) subsequent to the 1992 permit revocation. <br /> Mid Continent Resources Inc. (MCR) will be implementing reclamation <br /> work during 1994. If the Division determines that MCR has failed <br /> to meet any of the 1994 construction dates below, funds for all <br /> remaining tasks scheduled to be completed in 1994 shall be made <br /> available to the Division by January 1, 1995. <br /> Funds for completion of tasks during 1995 and 1996 shall be <br /> available to the Division by the first day of January of each of <br /> those years. The required funding amounts for tasks are indicated <br /> in parentheses following the relevant tasks, and are based upon the <br /> Divisions' estimation of costs for completion of those tasks by a <br /> third party under the direction of the Division. <br /> In addition to the reclamation tasks listed below, maintenence of <br /> the reclaimed and unreclaimed bpr yions of the disturbed area shall <br /> be performed. <br /> If details must be added to any aspect of the reclamation plan to <br /> guide implementation of a task, those aspects of the plan shall be <br /> supplemented with adequate information and approved by the Division <br /> prior to completion of any relevant tasks. <br /> June 30, 1994 Removal of surface facilities down to ground <br /> level at Mine 4 will be complete.- ($59,300) <br /> July 30, 1994 Reclamation of the Mine 5 road (reducing road <br /> width, regrading, ripping, topsoil <br /> redistribution and seeding) will be completed <br /> with the exception of any creek crossings <br /> which are needed for access to the Mine 5 <br /> area. ($82, 504) <br /> August 10, 1994 Backfilling and grading operations at Mine 3 <br /> will be complete. Topsoil redistribution at <br /> Mine 3 will be complete. ($17,875) <br /> August 31, 1994 All mine portals will be sealed in compliance <br /> with MSHA approved plans. ($61,430) <br />
