Steve also said that his revised plans were reviewed technically
prior to the contractor ' s meeting on the site. I asked him who
reviewed them and he would not tell me. I was also very disturbed
about the tone of Steve' s answers, as if everyone at Mid-Continent
were a bunch of bungling idiots who are completely out of touch.
Mike, I can tell you that if I thought that Mid-Continent was
deliberately trying to avoid reclamation or do something wrong, I
would sever my relationship with them in a second. As an interested
party, they would like to know what work is planned and what it
will cost. I do not think this is unreasonable.
I have worked with almost everyone at the Division for 14 years and
never had a problem getting along with anyone. I do not know why I
have a problem with one person now.
Since Steve will not give me the answers to my questions, I request
the following under the Freedom of Information Act:
1 ) a list of those bidders who responded to the RFP with a bid and
what the amount of their bid was.
2) who was awarded the bid and at what price.
3) 1 want to see the technical review of the Sutey Pile hydrology
that Steve says was done prior to the contractor meeting. I have
serious problems with the proposed plans and this review is very
important to me.
Call me if you want to talk to me about anything I have discussed
in this letter.
Sincerely yours,
P
Gre Lewicki J
Greg Lewicki and Associates
cc: Susan McCannon
