This is a preliminary assessment, so
feel free to add, subtract or otherwise comment. My next step is
to now prioritize the reclamation tasks. I thought that I would
first prioritize by mine site area, and then by task within the
area. It wouldn't hurt if maybe Jim tried to do the same, then we
could compare notes. I'll put a hard copy of the list into
overnight mail, along with a map for each of you which will be
useful in keying the priorities to the mine. Anyway, I'm looking
forward to your comments.
I'll be out at the mine part of Tuesday, Wednesday and possibly
Friday. The attorney representing Delaneys, Reeves and Minerals is
sending a paralegal here on Thursday to review the files, so I'll
be in then.
I've called ten contractors for the maintenance phone bid. I faxed
those with fax machines information on the project. I asked
everyone to provide their bids by noon Tuesday, 10-25-94. I am
also sending Mid-Continent a copy of the job description. I will
be in touch Tuesday or early Wednesday to get the P.O. set up, as
I'd like to start next Monday.
C:\wp51\env
