Peter Martin <br />The White River National Forest is in the beginning stage of revising its <br />Forest Plan. One of the major decisions to be made in the revision concerns <br />Travel Management, which determines which roads and trails will be open or <br />closed to various uses. We expect the site - specific decisions on Coal Basin <br />roads and trails will be made during this process. There will be extensive <br />public involvement and the input from Redstone residents will be extremely <br />important. <br />I understand that Steve Renner has offered to show you some of the road <br />situation on- the - ground, which I'm sure would be very helpful to get another <br />perspective on the issues faced by the Mined Land Division and the Forest <br />Service. <br />Thank you for your continued interest in your National Forest.
