Box 309 <br />Carbondale, CO 81623 <br />April 22, 1998 <br />This letter is intended as a follow up to the meeting <br />at DMG's offices in Denver on April 15, 1998 concerning Coal <br />Basin reclamation. The meeting was attended by Michael Long, <br />Steve Renner, David Bucknam for DMG, Cheryl Linden for the <br />Attorney General's office, and by Edward Mulhall of Delaney and <br />Balcomb, P.C., representing Louis M. LaGiglia as Trustee and Mid - <br />Continent Resources, Inc., in pending litigation. Also, by Louis <br />M. LaGiglia as Trustee, and by Thomas E. Gibbs, Diane Delaney and <br />Robert Delaney for Mid- Continent. <br />The purpose of the meeting as explained was to discuss <br />settlement of issues, including those involved in the pending <br />litigation, related to the Coal Basin reclamation program. At <br />the conclusion of the meeting it was agreed that a further <br />meeting should be held in the Glenwood Springs /Carbondale area <br />between May 12 and May 15, preferably May 13, if that can be <br />arranged with the U.
