In order to facilitate access to the north portion of Coal Basin and to the Rock Dump Facility, low <br />water crossings will be constructed; one on Dutch Creek, and one on the North Fork of Dutch <br />Creek. The crossings will effectively replace the culverts previously removed. The low water <br />crossings will be constructed approximately fifty feet upstream of the current culvert locations in <br />order to take advantage of the stream gradient and surrounding land forms. Each low water <br />crossing will be armored with appropriately sized rock. Armoring of the stream bed and entry <br />and exits will be accomplished. <br />Revegetation Specifications will be nearly identical to other Invitations and Bid <br />documents, however drill seeding of flatter areas will be allowed. Seeding in mid- to late <br />September will be required. It is estimated that approximately 2.5 acres will be disturbed, and <br />thus require revegetation. <br />25 <br />
