TASK 5 EQUIPMENT RENTAL Additional areas in and adjacent to the project area may require slope reduction, excavation or erosion control work. A CAT D -7H or equivalent 215 FHP machine with operator, a CAT 416B Backhoe loader or equivalent 74 fhp machine with operator, and a five (5) cubic yard on/off highway end dump truck with operator shall be furnished for additional work as needed. The hours outlined in Item 5 of the Bid Schedule are NOT guaranteed. All work will be accomplished according to Specification 19.0, Equipment Rental, attached. Measurement and Payment Measurement and payment will be made as per Specification 19.0, Equipment Rental, which is attached. Payment will be made at the unit prices established in Item 5 of the Bid Schedule. The hours outlined in Item 5 of the Bid Schedule are NOT guaranteed. TASK 6 SILT FENCE Sediment containment fences will be Mirafi Prefabricated Silt Fence with Posts, or approved equivalent (Figure 2, Typical'Silt Fence). Silt fence will be installed as per manufacturers specifications. Silt fence may be placed at various locations to minimize the transportation of sediment from the facility, and will be paid for under Task 6. Placement of silt fencing, if required, will occur concurrently with, or immediately upon completion of top soiling operations. Up to 1,500 feet of silt fence may be installed during completion of this project. Measurement and Payment Sediment containment fences (silt fence) will be measured to the nearest linear foot. Payment for this task will be paid for at prices established in Item 6 of the Bid Schedule per linear foot installed. Installation of 1,500 feet of silt fence IS NOT guaranteed. Such payment shall be considered full compensation for all labor, materials, equipment and all other items necessary and incidental to the furnishing and placement of the silt fences as directed and described in the specifications. Payment will be as this task is completed and approved by the PROJECT MANAGER. Payment for this task will be made only for the unit price shown under Item 6 of the Bid Schedule. TASK 7 UNDERDRAIN CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER may determine that it is desirable to construct an underdrain(s) where coal refuse is used as fill material in order to obtain the design slope on the north face of the Old Refuse Pile, or at some portions of the disposal site. Underdrains shall be constructed to the following specifications (1) PROJECT MANAGER will identify the location of the underdrain in the field.
