Payment for this task will be reflected in
a lump sum bid under Item 2 on the Bid Schedule. In order to
enhance the potential of revegetation success, depressions and benches are to be
created on approximately six (6) acres of outslopes. These depressions and benches
are to serve two purposes; ameliorate the overall slope angle, and to provide a place
for seed to become established. The depressions and benches will be mechanically
created by an imprinter or similar piece of equipment.
The imprinter or similar equipment shall create depressions or benches on the
outslopes which measure no more than eighteen inches (18") in width (side to side)
8
