June 6, 2012 C- 1981 - 010 /Trapper Mine JLE <br />E- AB -08; a possible sink or scarp is located on the northern end of this parcel. The scarp continues east into Phase <br />III bond released land. Vegetation is well established in this parcel. Rocky Mountain Penstemon, Arrowleaf <br />Balsamroot, several Wheat grasses species, Big Sage Brush and Great Basin Wild Rye was observed. Some White <br />Top was observed throughout this parcel. <br />D -AB -03 and 02; the desired vegetation has well established on these parcels. The two southernmost contour <br />ditches within these parcels have been graded out. White Top and Penny Cress patches were observed along <br />several stretches of the reclaimed contour ditches. One contour ditch is still in place at the northern end of the <br />parcels. This ditch will need to be removed prior to the Operator requesting Phase III bond release. <br />D -B -04; dense grass vegetation is established. <br />D -C -04; dense grass vegetation is established. <br />A -B -10; grass is establishing in this parcel; however, the dominant vegetation consists of annual/biennial grasses <br />and forbs. Yellow sweet Clover; Cheatgrass; Russian thistle and Kochia were observed. Several grass species <br />such as Great Basin Wild Rye and several wheatgrass species were also noted. White Top and Houndstongue was <br />also noted in several areas throughout the parcel. Several larger rills were observed and will need to be monitored <br />in order to initiate mitigation efforts if needed. <br />H -C -04; very dense native grass is established and it appears Great Basin Wild Rye is the dominant species. <br />F- AB -05; a bear spot is located within this parcel where a rock pile was located according to Mr. Nicholson. Some <br />White Top is establishing within the bear spot. A contour ditch on southern end of the parcel is in place. A little <br />patch of thistle and White Top is located within the parcel. <br />F- AB -06; native grass has established; some White Top was observed. <br />Z -A- 7,8,10; parcels are stable and vegetated. Great Basin Wild Rye is more dominant in the 07 parcel. Antelope <br />were observed grazing on the hill. <br />The Operator is continuing to backfill F Pit. They have finished grading the northern end of the backfilled area <br />and they are placing rock cheek dams in the re- established drainage.
