A small amount of dust <br />was observed from a scraper working south of D Pit. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS — Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />A records check was conducted, seed the last page of the report. <br />EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE — Rule 4.09; Placement; Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization: <br />The Operator continues to dispose of ash in the A pit. An area where the ash placement is complete is displayed <br />on the 2011 annual reclamation report maps (depicted as the 2012 Topsoil laydown area). Mr. Nicholson <br />indicated they will be hauling the required five feet of required spoil cover material to the area in the near future. <br />They are cutting a road in the spoil material south of the Ash Pit for five feet of backfill material for graded area. <br />Horse Gulch fill was inspected and found to be stable. The primary vegetation growing on the surface of the fill is <br />Penny Cress. The side drainage ditches have been cleaned. The small spring on the south side is flowing; the rill <br />created by the spring is filled with crushed rock and is being directed into the southern side drain in accordance <br />with the mitigation plan outlined in the Horse Gulch Fill monitoring reports. <br />EXPLOSIVES — Rule 4.08; Distance Prohibitions 4.08.4; Warnings 4.08.4; Control of Adverse Effects 4.08.4: <br />The roads leading near a future blast area were blocked off in accordance with the approved blasting plan. <br />FISH and WILDLIFE — Rule 4.18: <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 11 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 <br />Page 2 of 9 <br />
