Long <br />Division Director <br />RE: Amendment No. 1; Coal Basin /Wash Plant Area Demolition <br />Thank you for attending the pre -bid meeting on Tuesday, October 7, <br />1997. The following materials are being provided at the pre -bid <br />meeting: <br />- Amended description of Task 2, Demolition <br />- Task 5, Additional Demolition <br />- Revised Bid Schedule <br />- Map 1, General Location Map <br />- Map 3, Coal Basin Mine Map <br />- Map 4, Project Area Map <br />- Photocopy of a map from the permit application showing <br />building locations in Wash Plant area <br />These clarifications and amendments should be noted and <br />incorporated into the bid documents. All terms and conditions of <br />the Invitation and Bid other than as changed by this amendment <br />remain the same. Receipt and acceptance of this amendment will be <br />acknowledged on the bid form. <br />TASK 2 DEMOLITION <br />STATE OF COLORADO <br />Roy Romer <br />Governor <br />For purposes of the demolition task, all concrete structures <br />located within the area depicted on Map 3, Project Area, are <br />subject to the requirements of this task, unless otherwise <br />specified. <br />There are two overall objectives of the demolition task. The first <br />is to demolish designated concrete and block wall building remnants <br />and foundations, as well as conveyor foundations, asphaltic pads <br />and similar materials which are located within the work areas.
