PROJECT OBSERVATION <br /> The PROJECT MANAGER will be at the project site periodically to monitor construction <br /> activities and ensure that each work item is completed and constructed to design <br /> specifications. The PROJECT MANAGER will be available during regular business hours (8:00 <br /> A.M. to 5:00 P.M.) on weekdays. Inspections will not be scheduled on weekend days or <br /> holidays without approval of the PROJECT MANAGER. The following items must be observed <br /> and approved by the PROJECT MANAGER before proceeding with additional work: <br /> - Channel excavation prior to placing fabric lining; <br /> - Final grades prior to topsoil application; <br /> - Completion of topsoil application prior to initiation of revegetation efforts; <br /> - All mulching and crimping operations within 48 hours of completion. <br /> ADDITIONAL BID ITEMS <br /> Included on the Bid Schedule, is an additional bid item. This bid item is not guaranteed, and <br /> will be used only in the event that conditions change on site, and only after approved by the <br /> PROJECT MANAGER. The additional bid items for this project is: <br /> 5. Equipment Rental, as described in Task 5. <br /> 7. Provide and install 800 linear feet of additional silt fence per specifications outlined <br /> above in Task 2. <br /> 12 <br />
