Measurement and Payment <br /> The furrows constructed at each of the three locations will be measured to the nearest linear <br /> foot. Payment for this task will be at prices established in Item 5 of the Bid Schedule per <br /> lineal foot installed. Such Payment shall be considered full compensation for all labor, <br /> materials, equipment and all other items necessary and incidental to the furnishing and <br /> placement of the Surface Drainages as directed and described in the specifications. Payment <br /> will be as this task is completed and approved by the PROJECT MANAGER. Payment for this <br /> task will be made only for the unit prices shown under Item 5 of the Bid schedule. <br /> TASK 6 EQUIPMENT RENTAL <br /> Additional areas in the vicinity of Mine 3, Intermediate Coal Transfer Area and the Lower <br /> Bench Area may require additional grading, excavation, slope reduction, or erosion control <br /> work under the direction of the PROJECT MANAGER. Task 6a includes a CAT D-71-1 or <br /> equivalent 215 FHP machine with operator, and Task 6b includes a CAT 41613 Backhoe loader <br /> or equivalent 74 fhp machine with operator. The hours outlined in Item 6 of the Bid Schedule <br /> are NOT guaranteed. <br /> All work will be accomplished according to Specification 19.0, Equipment Rental, which is <br /> attached. <br /> Measurement and Payment <br /> Measurement and payment will be made as per Specification 19.0, Equipment Rental, <br /> attached. Payment will be made at the unit prices established in Item 6a and 6b of the Bid <br /> Schedule. The hours outlined in Item 6 of the Bid Schedule are NOT guaranteed. <br /> TASK 7 REVEGETATION <br /> All areas disturbed during reclamation work and any other areas specified in these Special <br /> Conditions will be revegetated according to the Revegetation Specifications, Section 20.0, <br /> attached. Seed will be supplied by the OWNER. All areas will be seeded with the "Mine Site <br /> Seed Mixture" (attached). <br /> These revegetation procedures will be preformed on all areas disturbed by project work, <br /> approximately 15 acres. The CONTRACTOR will supply mulch, equipment for chiseling, <br /> fertilizer application, seeding, mulching and crimping. <br /> Seed will be provided by the OWNER. The CONTRACTOR must give the PROJECT MANAGER <br /> at least fourteen (14) calendar days notice of the acreage to be seeded, so the PROJECT <br /> MANAGER can deliver the proper amount of seed. <br /> 11 <br />
