AFO requested the Western Support Center (WSC) to review the response for
technical adequacy. WSC's review is attached for your information.
Based on the information provided in NILRD's response. and the subsequent review by WSC.
FO finds MLRD to have shown good cause for not taking action. While there is still some
differences between WSC's and MRLD's estimated reclamation bond amounts: AFO believes
this can be attributed to acceptable differences in the baseline assumptions used in the cost
estimating process.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact Stephen Rathbun at
(505) 766 -1486.
Sincerely,
obert H.
