The subject area is roughly circular and 60 ft across, for a total
area of 2,827 sq ft, or 0.065 acres. Total 10 -yr 24 -hr rainfall
accumulation in this area would be 0.013 acre -ft.
This area is protected by a 1 -ft high berm, in which a gravel
filter will be placed. Water flowing through the filter will enter
the No. 3 Mine road drainage system.
Demonstration will be by sampling the next time water flows from
the gravel filter.
