DATE EVENT April 22, 1983 Colorado MLRD submitted the final TA for the Coal Basin mines to OSMRE for review and comment. May 31, 1983 Colorado MLRD's public comment period ended on Mid-Continent Resources, Inc. 's permit application and permit is issued. July 29, 1983 The Assistant Secretary approved the mining plan; OSMRE approved the MRP and issued a permit. March 16, 1984 Mid-Continent Resources, Inc. submitted a permit revision application to Colorado MLRD and OSMRE. May 15, 1984 The revision application was found to be complete by Colorado MLRD. September 18, 1984 Colorado MLRD submitted their final findings document to OSMRE. September 25, 1984 OSMRE determined that the revision did not constitute a mining plan, as modified since the acreage involved was wholly private. October 29, 1985 Mid-Continent Resources, Inc. submitted an application to add the remainder of Federal leases and modify the permit area boundary to Colorado MLRD and OSMRE. November 6, 1985 Colorado MLRD informed the applicant that the permit revision application was incomplete. November 13, 1985 Mid-Continent Resources, Inc. submitted additional information. November 27, 1985 Colorado MLRD notified the applicant that the application had been deemed complete for filing for public notice. December 17, 1985 Mid-Continent Resources, Inc. resubmitted the proposed boundary revision request along with two Technical Revisions to Colorado MLRD and OSMRE. December,21, 1985 Mid-Continent Resources, Inc. , published the fourth weekly consecutive public notice in the Glenwood Post. January 27, 1986 Public comment period ended. February 7, 1986 OSMRE completed the initial review of the submittals and informed Colorado MLRD that the additions of Federal surface and Federal coal to the permit area constituted a mining plan modification.
