February 5, 1981 Mid-Continent Resources, Inc. submitted permit
application package (PAP) and mining and reclamation
plan (MRP), under the approved Colorado State
Program to the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation
Division (MLRD) and OSMRE.
February 5, 1981 Company filed application in County Courthouse.
February 11, 1981 Colorado MLRD announced that Mid-Continent
Resources, Inc. 's permit application and MRP is
complete and commenced its technical analysis.
February 26, March 5, Mid-Continent Resources, Inc. published four
12 and 19, 1981 consecutive weekly notices in the Roaring Fork
Valley Journal and Gunnison County Times that its
permit application and MRP had been filed.
April 13, 1981 Colorado MLRD notified Mid-Continent Resources, Inc.
of deficiencies discovered in the Coal Basin Mine
State permit application and MRP in course of
preparation of TA, including concerns identified by
OSMRE.
August 28, 1981 Mid-Continent Resources, Inc. responded to Colorado
MLRD and OSMRE concerning those deficiencies.
January 8, 1983 Colorado MLRD submitted the draft TA for the Coal
Basin mines to OSMRE for its review and comments.
April 5, 1983 OSMRE submitted its comments regarding the draft TA
for the Coal Basin mines to Colorado MLRD.
April 8, 1983 Colorado MLRD published notice of decision of
pending approval of the Coal Basin mines plan and
issuance of a permit.
April 14, 1983 Colorado MLRD recommended approval of Mid-Continent
Resources, Inc. 's permit application.
