into the reclamation permit.

General Location: Approximately 2 mi. north of Silverton in San
Juan County
Pertinent Details:
1. Attached is a list of issues raised by the Division and
interested parties during the review of TR-014.
2 . Attached are letters received by the Division in response to
Public Notification of the TR-014 submittal.
4 . Installation of the bulkheads will be certified by a
professional engineer. The operator will contact the Division
at critical points during construction to facilitate Division
inspections of the installation of the bulkheads.
3 . The operator has committed to monitoring of water quality and
quantity in the drainages surrounding the Sunnyside workings
in order to assess the impact of flooding the underground
workings. The operator has further committed to inoculate the
mine pool with a groundwater tracer in order to track
potential emergence of mine pool water.
4 . The contingency will be available to draw down the mine pool,
and return to the existing conditions, if unforseen problems
develop during flooding of the workings.
Staff Recommendation:
Division staff recommends approval of TR-014 with the condition
that the following commitments be attached to approval. The
operator has agreed to the wording of the commitments.
