Box 1880
gYangoi7Cd =81302 1880
:.bear Mr. Nelson:
Sunnyside Gold Corporation has submitted a Technical Revision to
the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (Division) that
proposes the placement of four reinforced concrete bulkheads to
impound water currently passing through the Sunnyside Mine
workings. The purpose of these bulkheads is to restore the pre-
- mining hydrology as best as possible to that present prior to
mining.
Water Rights
AL A
SUNNYSIDE GOLD CORPORATION,_
AN ECHO DAY COMPANY y '
P.O. This flow varies
with runoff conditions. During 1992, this flow ranged from
0.04 MGD to 0.88 MGD with an average of 0.31 MGD. The flow is
to Eureka Creek, a tributary of the Animas River.
2) The American Tunnel flow would be reduced. At the proposed
bulkhead site during 1992, the flow varied from 1.29 MGD to
1.60 MGD with the average flow being 1.46 MGD. The flow is to
Cement Creek, a tributary of the Animas River.
