Yoast Mine Phase I Bond Release Request (SL-4) May 2012 The areas requested for Phase I release include: • Dragline Deadhead Route — This area is adjacent to RCR #27 and was approved as a permanent "wide spot" on RCR #27 and the remainder was reclaimed with the approval of the landowner and DRMS. Recently a large portion of the area was sold to Routt County for the construction of a Round -About to allow passage of coal trucks to and from the Peabody Sage Creek Mine. • Yoast Access Road — This was formerly Haul Road "A" providing access to the Yoast Mine. • Light Use Road LU -1 — This road has been approved as a permanent road and provides access from LU -3A to Pond 010. • Light Use Road LU -2 — This road has been approved as a permanent road and provides access from LU -3A to the North mining area and fenced Shrub Plot 07 -2. • Light Use Road LU -3A - This road has been approved as a permanent road and was originally Haul Road `B ". • Light Use Road LU -3B - This road has been approved as a permanent road and was formerly part of Haul Road `B" and LU -3B. • Light Use Road LU -4 - This road has been approved as a permanent road and provides access to Pond 012 from RCR #39. • Light Use Road LU -5 - This road has been approved as a permanent road and provides access from RCR #39 to Pond 013. • Permanent Channel YPM -8 • Permanent Channel YPM -13 • Permanent Channel YPM -20 • Topsoil Stockpile "C" — Graded topsoil area • Topsoil Stockpile "I" — The topsoil in this stockpile has been removed, and the area graded, drainage installed, and seeded. • Ponds 010, 013, 014 — Approved as a permanent ponds • Stock Pond ST -1— Approved as a permanent pond • Un- released area within the Neck Pit • Un- released area within the Valora Pit area • Structures Removed 4
