Yoast Mine <br />Phase I Bond Release Request (SL-4) May 2012 <br />The areas requested for Phase I release include: <br />• Dragline Deadhead Route — This area is adjacent to RCR #27 and was approved as a <br />permanent "wide spot" on RCR #27 and the remainder was reclaimed with the approval of <br />the landowner and DRMS. Recently a large portion of the area was sold to Routt County for <br />the construction of a Round -About to allow passage of coal trucks to and from the Peabody <br />Sage Creek Mine. <br />• Yoast Access Road — This was formerly Haul Road "A" providing access to the Yoast Mine. <br />• Light Use Road LU -1 — This road has been approved as a permanent road and provides <br />access from LU -3A to Pond 010. <br />• Light Use Road LU -2 — This road has been approved as a permanent road and provides <br />access from LU -3A to the North mining area and fenced Shrub Plot 07 -2. <br />• Light Use Road LU -3A - This road has been approved as a permanent road and was <br />originally Haul Road `B ". <br />• Light Use Road LU -3B - This road has been approved as a permanent road and was formerly <br />part of Haul Road `B" and LU -3B. <br />• Light Use Road LU -4 - This road has been approved as a permanent road and provides <br />access to Pond 012 from RCR #39. <br />• Light Use Road LU -5 - This road has been approved as a permanent road and provides <br />access from RCR #39 to Pond 013. <br />• Permanent Channel YPM -8 <br />• Permanent Channel YPM -13 <br />• Permanent Channel YPM -20 <br />• Topsoil Stockpile "C" — Graded topsoil area <br />• Topsoil Stockpile "I" — The topsoil in this stockpile has been removed, and the area graded, <br />drainage installed, and seeded. <br />• Ponds 010, 013, 014 — Approved as a permanent ponds <br />• Stock Pond ST -1— Approved as a permanent pond <br />• Un- released area within the Neck Pit <br />• Un- released area within the Valora Pit area <br />• Structures Removed <br />4 <br />
